About the only location I'd somehow never hit and about the only location left...it is with great sadness that I type that, as this place certainly made up a lot of thoughts about Utah-specific food during the early formative period when I first came here (only partially because the locations were open late enough to hit the drunken hours). About 2 or 3 times a year, sometimes more, I will hit a craving that only the roast beef scone can hit and the stars aligned enough for one of them to be when I was in this area.
Let's be real. Parking here is a pain. 90th South itself in that area is a pain. The whole thing is an exercise in agony, but it is worth it...? During the craving period, definitely. I don't always get their fries, but if I happen to want them, nothing else satisfies. Inside is tiny and cramped and if one is going here, one is going to have to make an effort. My visit did not feature the best I've ever had from any location - or even close, if I'm being honest - but it was still solid and still hit the spot and I'm already dreading the day when this mini-chain is gone as I will miss it dearly. -

The raspberry lemonade was great! Actually more than great. I instantly got aroused and fell in love with Sconecutter. I went everyday exactly at 1:55 AM, I didn't want to seem weird but I was was actually in love. My parents always asked me if I had a girlfriend, but I didn't know how to break it to them that I was in love with a food chain.

Delicious!!!!
My favorites from last nights visit (my first) was the raspberry butter, cinnamon honey butter and apple. I especially loved the raspberry.
They were hot and fresh.
Our shakes were perfect too. How can you beat fresh scones and homemade ice cream. -

It might become a problem that my new job is down the street from this location. I was traveling to work, got off at 90th south and saw Sconecutters! Easy access and had a drive through! I didn't take a pic of my honey butter scone, but I will tomorrow when I stop by to get breakfast. Super hot and fresh! So yummy!!

I like one dish here the shrimp basket the scones are pretty awful and the service is terrible 90% of the time but the fried deliciousness calls to me sometimes. Half of the employees will swap the scone for a few more fries like I've literally asked for 3 more fries and the others refuse . I'd probably say skip it unless you really like fried shrimp enough to deal with some of the most frustrating fast food workers out there. And the swap is just one of the issues. They take forever to take orders mumble are rude and just are not very good sadly except for the 10 percent every once in a while they are ok and the food is consist at least.
